By accessing and using Vancouver Dentist Directory ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.

We reserve the right to update and change these Terms of Service at any time without notice. Continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your consent to such changes.

2. Description of Service

Vancouver Dentist Directory is a platform that connects patients with verified dental professionals in the Vancouver area. We facilitate connections between patients seeking dental care and dentists offering their services.

Important: Vancouver Dentist Directory is a matching and referral service only. We do not provide medical or dental advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All dental services are provided by independent dental professionals who are solely responsible for their professional services.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of our Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3.3 Dental Professional Accounts

Dental professionals who join our network must provide proof of valid licensing in British Columbia and maintain current professional liability insurance. We reserve the right to verify credentials and remove any listings that do not meet our standards.

4. Use of Service

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable federal, provincial, or local law or regulation
• Impersonate or attempt to impersonate any person or entity
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service
• Use any automated system to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human can reasonably produce
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from the Service without consent

4.2 Lead Submissions

When you submit a request for dental services through our Service, you authorize us to share your contact information and service requirements with dental professionals in our network who may be able to serve your needs.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Vancouver Dentist Directory and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Canada and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other brand elements.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Service is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

8. Payment Terms

Dental professionals who subscribe to our Service agree to pay the applicable subscription fees as outlined in their selected plan. All fees are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Medical Advice

Vancouver Dentist Directory does not provide medical or dental advice. All content on the Service is for informational purposes only. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of qualified healthcare providers with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

9.2 Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Vancouver Dentist Directory, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vancouver Dentist Directory and its licensors, licensees, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms of Service or your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia, and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Service.
